About
I'm Ludovic Bostral, a streaming analyst and the founder of Streaming Radar, based in Nantes, France. For 25 years I've been building and analyzing streaming platforms, from M6 Replay to emerging markets.
I started as a developer, then lead developer, at Manreo (2000-2007), before joining M6 Web (2007-2014) as a developer then architect, working on M6 Replay and 6play. In 2014 I co-founded Afrostream, an Afro-focused SVOD service that went through Y Combinator (S15 batch), as CTO. In 2015 I was part of the early team at Molotov, working on live and replay video.
I then served as CTO of Majelan (podcasts), VP Engineering at Pixagility (OTT platforms, TV over IP), CTO of Kessel (the French Substack, dedicated to newsletters), and Platform Manager at TRACE+, an SVOD service available in 40+ countries.
Since 2023 I publish streaming intelligence reports on Lens through Streaming Radar: data, playbooks and an MCP server. I also founded Vertical Drama, covering vertical shows, and created FFMPuzzle in 2026.
